Christopher Nolan has made The Dark Knight in a way that the audience will not only make you fall in love with the character of the hero but at the same time will also make you appreciate the villain's greatness. Most super hero movies do not focus on the villain's character making them easy to be hated by the audience. Dark Knight has a great story line and I was amazed on how Heath Ledger has given life to the joker's character. What I do not get in the movie is during two-face and the joker's conversation about two face, batman and the cops always having plans and the joker having no plants at all. But how can the joker has executed those killings if he doesn't have any plans? Also, Nolan has then again left the audience hanging, making them think about what will now happens to batman and the joker, how Alfred burned Rachel's letter and if two face is really dead? In most action, crime and thriller films, sometimes we can expect how these story will go and end but this is not applicable to Christopher Nolan films. He has a way of twisting the story not only to have you hanging on your seat but will also make you use your mind with watching. |
